Terms of Service

Last updated: September 30, 2026 · Version 1.0

These are the rules for using BolichApp, written in plain language. If anything is unclear, write to us.

The Spanish version (Condiciones del servicio) is the governing text.

1. The agreement

BolichApp is an app for tracking your bowling games, developed by Mario Carrillo (CarMaDev) (“we”). By using it you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app. BolichApp is currently free.

2. Personal use

The app is for your personal use: tracking and analyzing your own game. Don’t use it for commercial purposes, and don’t resell, copy or redistribute the app or its photo reading service.

3. Optional Google account

You don’t need an account to use BolichApp: everything works on your phone. Signing in with Google is optional: it lets you sync and restore your data and use “From photo”. If you do, you are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.

4. Photo reading and quota

5. What’s not allowed

You may not:

6. Your data

Your data is yours. Without an account it lives only on your phone, so if you lose the phone or uninstall the app without a backup, it is lost. We recommend exporting backups from time to time (Settings → Your data). How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. The app is provided “as is”

We do our best for BolichApp to work well and calculate correctly, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no guarantee that it is error-free or that the online service is always available. Stats and suggestions are informational and don’t replace a coach’s advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss, indirect damages or losses arising from using, or being unable to use, the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under Mexican law that cannot be waived, such as those under the Federal Consumer Protection Law.

9. Intellectual property

The app, its name and its logo belong to its developer. Third-party brands mentioned (for example, ball brands or bowling centers) belong to their owners.

10. Termination

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will publish the new version here with its date. We will tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts of Zapopan, Jalisco, unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere or to Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco).
